This week Stephanie Jay had the opportunity to welcome not one, not two but three Directors from Crossover Downtown Outreach Ministry in Flint. We welcome outgoing Executive Director Craig Leavitt, New Executive Director Denise Diller and Elizabeth Hamilton Development Director. Crossover Downtown Outreach Ministry is a faith-based, interdenominational mission established to provide free emergency food, clothing, household, personal items, and youth programs to those most in need in our community. This week Stephanie and Jay sat down with Traci Davis. She is the Director of Rides to Wellness at the Flint Mass Transportation Authority. Rides to Wellness is a comprehensive non-emergency medical transportation program that provides mobility management, door-to-door service, and same day service to riders going to medical or other health and wellness-related appointments. Using cutting-edge technology and a ride-hailing-like model, Rides to Wellness is provided through service agreements with local agencies and medical providers.
